Sample Chapter from an Upcoming Novella

     Here's a small sample of a story currently in the works.
     It's a horror-spin on the coming-of-age story. At this point in the story the protagonist is pretty shaken up and his sense of sanity is on its way out. While I don't think it's perfect by any means, I do think its a pretty big step up from "The Adventure of Zonto and Zante."
     I plan to publish the story after it's finished.
